Chili Crisp 3-pack – all three varieties in one package

Fruity-mild, peppery-bold, and tingling-spicy: 3 × 160 g of Crunchy Chili Crisp from our own production facility in Germany.

You might know Chili Crisp as chili oil with a few crumbs in it. With ours, the spoon brings something extra to the table: peanuts, sunflower seeds, sesame, roasted sticky rice grains, and fried onions provide the crunch, chili flakes provide the base – and each variety has its own signature profile. The best way to find out which one is yours is to try all three. That’s exactly what this set is for: one jar for getting started, one for the punch, and one for the tingle.

What's inside

  • Mango Madness: over 25% real mango, sweet and fruity with lime powder and three types of pepper. Heat level 2 out of 5 – the mild entry-level choice that even works for those who prefer "not too spicy, please."
  • Pepper Punch: four types of pepper – black, white, green, and pink peppercorns – plus kaffir lime leaves. Heat level 4 out of 5 – a punch, not a continuous blaze.
  • Szechuan Storm: 1% real Sichuan pepper and fermented soybeans. Heat level 3 out of 5 – spicy with that signature tingling sensation on the lips and tip of the tongue.

Contents: 3 × 160 g
Production: our own facility in Germany

How to use

  • The classic: a spoonful over rice, noodles, or in ramen broth
  • On fried eggs, scrambled eggs, or avocado toast – the best breakfast upgrade available
  • With dumplings, Look Chin fish balls, or Sai Krok Isan instead of dip
  • Over grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, or fried tofu
  • Mango Madness on cream cheese, burrata – or, honestly, on vanilla ice cream
  • Stirred into mayo or yogurt for a thirty-second dip

Why Yak Thai?

  • From our own production facility in Germany: we make our Chili Crisp ourselves – no anonymous imports
  • Three distinct characters instead of just three heat levels: fruit, pepper, and tingling – every variety tastes unique
  • Crunch from real ingredients: peanuts, sunflower seeds, roasted sticky rice grains, and fried onions
  • No added sugar: the sweetness comes from mango and raisins
  • No artificial flavor enhancers – the umami develops during roasting and fermentation
  • Completely plant-based – all three varieties are vegan
  • Made for gifting: three jars, three labels, one concept – for everyone who likes a bit of heat

Good to know

Not all heat is created equal. Capsaicin from chilies binds to the TRPV1 heat receptor and holds on stubbornly – which is why the burn from chili lingers. Piperin from pepper hits the same receptor, but for a shorter time and with significantly more aroma. And Sichuan pepper isn't botanically a pepper at all, but is related to citrus fruits: its hydroxy-alpha-sanshool makes the touch receptors in your lips fire, which the brain interprets as a vibration. Three jars, three completely different types of heat – you'll only notice when you try them side-by-side.

Note: Not suitable for frying – add the Chili Crisp to the finished dish. Store in a cool place after opening and stir before use. You can find ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values for each individual product.

Yak Thai products offer the real taste of Thailand.

To make this possible, we use no additives or thickeners, nor do we sterilize our products at 130°C. Our products don't have to endure weeks of sea travel; we produce them fresh here in Bavaria.

IMPORTANT: Therefore, we ask you to keep the products in the refrigerator after opening. Please also cover the curry pastes with a little neutral oil (e.g., rapeseed or sunflower oil). You're probably familiar with this procedure from
Pesto.
