What makes yellow curry paste so special?

  • Gentle heat, full flavor. Unlike red or green curry pastes, yellow curry paste is mild, but by no means bland.

The combination of dried chilies, turmeric, coriander root, and cumin provides a deep, warm aroma.

  • Versatile. Whether with vegetables, chicken, tofu, or fish – yellow curry paste goes with almost anything and is particularly popular with families and guests who don't like it too spicy.

  • Authentic & handmade in Germany According to an original Thai recipe, but with the highest manufacturing standards – produced directly here in Germany, in our own manufactory, without artificial additives.

All these qualities make our Yellow Curry Paste a popular choice for anyone who loves Thai cuisine and wants to prepare authentic dishes at home.

Why yellow curry paste from Yak Thai?

    • Truly Thai: We make all our pastes ourselves, following authentic Thai recipes. Chonticha stands by this with her name.
    • Always fresh: We produce in small batches (max. 25 kg) here in Bavaria. If it's sold out, we make the product fresh again. We produce our goods not for the supermarket or sea transport, but fresh for you.
    • Environment: No weeks of transport in sea containers – we produce regionally
    • Fresh ingredients: We use fresh ingredients, regionally where possible. You will find no preservatives or other additives in our products.
    • Shrimp paste and fish sauce: As is common in Thailand, we use fish sauce and/or shrimp paste in some of our products. We want to offer you the authentic taste of Thailand. We are vegan where this is also the case in Thailand.

How should our products be dosed?

    • Since our pastes are very potent and not diluted, we recommend starting "slowly." It's best to start with one teaspoon and gradually increase the amount. Here you can find our Yellow Curry recipe

How long do the pastes last after opening the jar?

Yak Thai products offer the authentic taste of Thailand.

    pesto.
