Our cantaloupe melon strips are naturally dried from fully ripe cantaloupe melons. The bright orange flesh of the cantaloupe is known for its intense aroma – this flavor becomes even more concentrated during drying.

Good to know

The cantaloupe melon owes its name to the Italian aristocratic estate Cantalupo, where it was first cultivated in the 18th century from seeds of Armenian origin – today it is grown worldwide, including in Thailand, where it ripens under optimal tropical conditions. Its bright orange flesh is due to a high beta-carotene content (a precursor to vitamin A).
