Yak Thai products offer the real taste of Thailand.

To make this possible, we use no additives or thickeners, nor do we sterilize our products at 130°C. Our products don't have to endure weeks of sea travel; we produce them fresh here in Bavaria.

IMPORTANT: Therefore, we ask you to keep the products in the refrigerator after opening. Please also cover the curry pastes with a little neutral oil (e.g., rapeseed or sunflower oil). You're probably familiar with this procedure from
Pesto.

Our Massaman Curry Paste is a delicious and aromatic paste used in Thai cuisine to prepare a traditional Massaman curry . It consists of a blend of roasted shallots, garlic, lemongrass, coriander root, galangal, cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, dried red chilies, and other ingredients.

This combination creates a rich and complex flavor that's both sweet and savory, with a mild heat. Overall, Massaman curry paste is a versatile and delicious ingredient that adds depth and complexity to your curry.

Massaman is an extremely popular curry, especially in autumn and winter. Why not try a delicious pumpkin curry or even sweet potatoes instead of pumpkin? Massaman is very versatile and goes well with many other ingredients.

You can see how to split the coconut milk to make the curry extra creamy in our video .

What makes Massaman Curry so special?

  1. Versatility: Massaman curry can be prepared with different meats such as chicken, beef, lamb or even tofu, making it a flexible dish to suit different tastes.
  2. Aromatic spices: The base of the curry consists of a mixture of spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cumin and nutmeg, which together with, for example, peanuts and potatoes, create a harmonious flavor composition.
  3. History and Culture: This dish is not only a culinary delight, but also a piece of history that reflects Thailand's cultural influences and trade relations.

Why Yak Thai Massaman Paste

  1. Authentic Thai: We make all our pastes ourselves, using authentic Thai recipes. Chonticha's name stands for this.
  2. Sustainable: We manufacture in small batches (max. 25 kg) here in Bavaria. When we run out, we remake the product. Our products aren't made for the supermarket, but fresh for you.
  3. Environment: No weeks of transport in sea containers - we manufacture regionally
  4. Fresh ingredients: We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. You won't find any preservatives or other additives in our products.

Dosage of curry paste

Since our pastes are very productive and not diluted, we recommend starting "slowly." They say there are already some victims.

If you want a real Thai taste , try Yak Thai. We use shrimp paste , fish sauce, and oyster sauce to give you the authentic flavor.

You can find more information and feedback from our Thai customers on our Thai Facebook page.
