Ready-made Pad Thai Sauce with Tamarindo – for the Original Thai Noodle Dish
The Pad Thai Sauce is an essential blend of tamarindo, fish sauce, cane coconut sugar, coriander root, chili, red onions and shrimp, used in Thai cuisine for the famous fried noodle dish. Our sauce gives Pad Thai its distinctive flavor and is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves authentic Thai aromas.
- Tamarindo: Tamarindo gives it a pleasant tanginess. The liquid, brown tamarindo paste from Thailand is ideal for Pad Thai sauce
- Cane coconut sugar: The sweet taste of the sugar rounds off the sauce.
- Fish sauce: Fish sauce provides the salty and savory note. Don't worry, the fishy taste disappears during cooking.
- Coriander root: Gives the sauce incredible depth and flavor. Coriander root does not taste like the leaves, so don't worry, it doesn't taste like "dish soap" :-)
- Chilis: The chilis give the sauce a very mild spiciness, which even less experienced chili lovers can easily eat
Here's how to do it: Here you will find our Pad Thai Recipe and the recipe for Pad Thai with Shrimp.
Contents: 250 ml
Yield: One bottle (250 ml) is enough for about 3-4 portions of Pad Thai (125 - 250 ml, depending on the desired intensity). Note: Contains fish sauce and dried shrimp, therefore not vegetarian or vegan.
Using Pad Thai Sauce – More Than Just Pad Thai
Pad Thai sauce is incredibly versatile and is suitable for a variety of dishes. Here are some ways you can use it:
Pad Thai: Of course, the sauce is perfect for the classic Pad Thai dish. It gives fried rice noodles, shrimp, chicken or tofu their characteristic sweet and sour flavor.
Marinade: You can use Pad Thai sauce as a marinade for meat, fish or tofu. It gives grilled food a delicious, savory note.
Stir-Fry: Use the sauce in other pan dishes. It goes perfectly with vegetables, rice noodles or glass noodles and provides an authentic Thai flavor.
Dipping Sauce: Pad Thai sauce can also serve as a dip for spring rolls, vegetables or grilled meat. Simply add some peanut butter to achieve a creamy consistency.
Salad Dressing: Mix the sauce with some lime juice and oil to create an exotic salad dressing.
